We have developed new ways to keep our lands free of trash. These new refreshing ideas are being used at the Gastonbury Festival by the Green Police. These Green Police encourage festival goers to utilize green bags given to them to dispose of all of their trash. All efforts to pick up trash on the earth is a good thing. This is the type of effort we need more of.

A few years ago I purchased a used pickup to tool around in. You know off road driving along with street cruising. That is what I think most of us get a truck for. I think that most people have heard of the stimulus package the government is implementing to jump start our economy. Realizing something had to be done there are stimulus packages being given in different areas. One area that is really getting a boost is the housing market. By offering a Housing Stimulus package the people that were thinking of buying may find themselves at the buying table. The package is in the form of tax credits. If you are a first time home buyer or a person that has not owned a home for three years you qualify for a tax credit up to $8,000. The tax credits do not stop there. If you have lived in your home for the last 5 out of 8 years consecutively you also may qualify for a tax credit of $6,500. These tax credits may be just what the housing market needs to get going in the right direction. The deadline for these tax credits is April 10,2010. By that date you have to have a written or binding contract on your new home to take advantage of the tax credits. There are certain things that you should not have to live without and we found out one of those things when we moved to our new home. We had always wanted to buy a home with a comfortable amount of land. To do that we had to move out of the city and more into the outskirts of town. I told my wife they could stay at a hotel for the night and then we could spend our first night together in the house but she felt they could get some unpacking done. As luck strikes twice a big storm came over them on same night. My wife was nervous and my kids were scared. They were very happy when we started sending notes to each other. Some how it gave them a way to take their mind off of what was going on outside. Then the unthinkable happened and we lost our connection. We could not get our connection back. I felt so helpless to easing their fears. The next day I got home and was relieved to see they were fine. That night I realized the true value of the internet.
